Mapal Group welcomes Inpulse to the family
Mapal Group, the pan-European hospitality software leader supported by Eurazeo and PSG, today announced the acquisition of Inpulse, France’s leading AI-powered procurement and inventory-management solution for restaurant groups.
This acquisition reinforces Mapal’s long-term strategy to build the most complete back-of-house management platform for hospitality groups, integrating the best specialist solutions in the market into a single, unified experience. Instead of operators having to rely on multiple disconnected applications,
Mapal’s vision is to offer one integrated platform from which venue management teams can run and optimise all operational processes seamlessly.
Strengthening Mapal’s integrated platform strategy
In the last few years, Mapal has incorporated several category-leading technologies — including Flow (UK), GetCompliant (Sweden), Easilys (France), and Guudjob (Spain) — into its Mapal OS ecosystem. The addition of Inpulse represents a major step in completing Mapal’s end-to-end coverage of one of the most critical areas for hospitality groups: inventory, procurement and food-cost control.
By combining Easilys (serving contract catering, central kitchens and hotels) with Inpulse (focused on restaurant groups, bakeries and coffee chains), Mapal now offers the strongest inventory-management capabilities in the European Hospitality market.
This unified platform experience also lays the foundation for Mapal’s AI Manager, an intelligent layer that sits on top of Mapal OS to guide managers, simplify decision-making and automate operational tasks. The AI Manager is only possible because all key back-office processes — workforce, inventory, compliance, operations, maintenance and more — converge in a single platform where data and workflows are natively connected.
This transaction marks Mapal’s first acquisition since Eurazeo completed its investment in the company.
Jorge Lurueña, Founder & Chairman of Mapal Group
“For years, hospitality operators have faced a choice between two imperfect models: limited suites of average tools built by a single vendor, or a collection of disconnected specialist applications that burden managers with multiple interfaces, poor connectivity and fragmented business data. Neither approach has truly solved the complexity of back-of-house operations.
With Mapal OS we bring the best of both worlds together — a single, easy-to-use platform with one interface and real operational harmony, built by integrating the strongest specialist solutions in the market.
Inpulse fits perfectly into this vision, adding best-in-class procurement and inventory management for restaurants to the platform to deliver a seamless, unified back-of-house experience for hospitality groups.”
Christian Fleck, CEO of Mapal Group
“We are thrilled to welcome Brice, Valentin and the entire Inpulse team to Mapal. Their technology stands out not only for its sophistication, but also for the clarity of the problem it solves and the measurable impact it delivers.
Inpulse has grown at remarkable speed, and that growth has been driven by a combination of an outstanding product with some of the highest customer-satisfaction levels we have seen in the hospitality technology market.”
Founded in 2018, Inpulse has established itself as France’s leading management platform for multi-site foodservice networks. Pioneers in the use of AI in the foodservice industry, Inpulse leverages on its proprietary artificial intelligence, to automate sales forecasts, supplier orders, stock and inventory management, production plannings, invoice reconciliation and material cost control, offering groups savings of up to 5 percentage points on food costs.
The acquisition by Mapal Group will allow Inpulse to benefit from the power of a global player and its industry, enabling it to accelerate its development on a global scale. This acquisition opens up new growth opportunities for Inpulse, making its AI technology accessible to a larger number of hospitality operators at a global scale, while preserving its expertise and leadership.
Brice Konda & Valentin Pignolet, founders of Inpulse
“Joining Mapal marks an exciting new stage for Inpulse. From the beginning, our mission has been to help restaurant operators maximise margins and streamline stock and purchasing processes. By becoming part of Mapal, we can now bring our technology and make AI-driven inventory optimisation accessible to operators around the world.
Our customers will also benefit from this move, as Inpulse becomes part of Mapal OS — a complete, integrated platform that connects all back-of-house processes and simplifies day-to-day operations, while preserving the product vision and the leadership approach that have defined Inpulse so far. This will enable us to accelerate our international development, driven by a shared vision: to offer a best-in-class tool and an AI Manager that will revolutionise the industry.
Finally, for our team and us, this is a unique opportunity. We are joining one of the world’s leading hospitality software groups, opening new possibilities for growth, learning and impact, and allowing us to keep actively shaping the evolution of Inpulse with the strength and scale of Mapal behind us.”
