Foodiz Déli, a subsidiary of the Foodiz Group, is a true success story in the premium supermarket sushi stand market. In just a few years, the company has experienced meteoric growth, now operating 64 stands. Present in almost all major retail chains, including Auchan and Monoprix, the brand maintains a steady pace of expansion with around fifteen new stand openings planned each year.

"Inpulse's approach won me over immediately. The software's conceptual design clearly represented a new level of thinking. I wanted a tool that was modern, flexible, and, above all, intuitive for the teams."

Retail Business Unit Director, Group

With 64 points of sale in France, the successful launch of its first corner in Madrid, and a sophisticated alliance strategy (notably through a major strategic partnership with Sushiman), Foodiz Déli relies daily on Inpulse as its operational backbone to structure its national and international network.

Moving away from archaic tools to free up time in the field

Before deploying Inpulse, Foodiz Déli faced the limitations of traditional tools like email, phone calls, and complex Excel files, before briefly adopting another management software. Given the ultra-rapid rollout of stands across France, this system quickly showed its limitations: extreme slowness, a lack of agility, and prohibitive development costs.

For Natacha Courtioux, multi-site manager, the administrative burden had become a real bottleneck in the field:

"Before Inpulse, manually analyzing and entering data, numbers, and amounts from every delivery note into Excel took us an entire workday each week. It was extremely archaic, cumbersome, and prone to errors."

Richard Tamarel, Retail Business Unit Director, then set out to find modern software capable of centralizing purchasing and providing a global view of the network:

"Inpulse's approach immediately won me over. In terms of the software's conceptual design, it was clearly a step up in reasoning. The tool was finally projecting itself into the 21st century rather than the 20th. I wanted a tool that was modern, flexible, and, above all, intuitive for the teams."

The agility of centralized and intuitive management

Inpulse has established itself as the operational engine for Foodiz Déli, providing absolute consistency in management from the head office down to the point of sale. The platform is built around three major pillars:

1. Operational security and automated ERP connectivity

The Inpulse activity forecasting feature proves to be extremely accurate. It ensures optimal operational continuity for the stands: even in the event of a manager's absence or reduced availability, the algorithm secures order forecasts and allows the point of sale to continue running normally.

At the same time, the tool integrates into the brand's technical ecosystem by allowing data exports directly connected to their accounting ERP. Once validations are completed on Inpulse by the field teams, invoicing is automated and sent directly to the accounting department, freeing up valuable time for all support teams.

3. An intuitive interface designed for the network and onboarding

Whether it's managing product listings or steering activity during major peaks (such as Valentine's Day), the platform's flexibility makes tracking easy. The ergonomics proved to be a major asset during onboarding.

"I picked it up really quickly, all on my own. Within a month, I was already using it very effectively. It's a tool that's really easy to get the hang of." - Sarah, trainer for the entire network

Massive efficiency gains and total margin control

The impact of the Inpulse solution translates into very concrete performance gains at all levels of the organization:

Reduced administrative time and anti-waste management

The time spent managing deliveries and inventory has dropped from a full day to just 2 hours per week per manager. Furthermore, by combining the richness of Inpulse's exports with artificial intelligence, processing Natacha Courtioux's weekly reports now takes only 1 minute (compared to 2 hours of manual copy-pasting previously).

This administrative efficiency is coupled with a major operational weapon for correcting deviations remotely. For Sarah, Inpulse's macro-filtering capability has become indispensable for fighting against breakage and waste :

"What I particularly like is the ability to drill down into the data. When I see a stand generating a lot of waste, I can isolate that stand for an entire month and see exactly which products are underperforming. This allows me to create a precise report for the stand manager, show them the specific discrepancies, and correct the situation immediately."

Precise food cost management and protection of negotiated prices

Industrial-scale food cost management is essential for the profitability of Foodiz.

  • ‍For purchasing: The brand's buyer relies entirely on Inpulse's data to manage supplier pricing and analyze raw material price trends against market fluctuations, such as salmon inflation.
  • For the stands: since negotiated prices are centralized at headquarters, the tool allows field teams to instantly verify the financial compliance of delivery notes. Any anomalies or overcharging by a supplier are immediately apparent, simplifying credit requests. Thanks to field scanning, inventory levels are updated automatically, allowing management to track product revenue in real time and remotely.

Ambitions: setting course for Spain!

With this solid operational structure in place, the Foodiz group is accelerating its international expansion into Spain, with a first pilot stand opened in Madrid.

While integrating local recipe cards and new Spanish suppliers was a real technical challenge at the start to calibrate the production algorithm, the tool remains an essential benchmark.

As Sarah, a trainer for the region, points out:

‍"We use Inpulse in Madrid exactly the same way we do in France. It's incredibly simple for local teams and very easy to explain during manager training."‍

A successful model replication that is already paving the way for future national openings across the Iberian Peninsula.

Food cost is the name of the game at Foodiz Déli: we never launch a new recipe without calculating it down to the last cent.
