Created in April 2019, Wasabi is a brand specialized in the manufacture and sale of Asian recipes in supermarkets. Today, Wasabi has more than 150 food kiosks located in supermarkets: E.Leclerc, Intermarkt and Système U. For Charles Edouard Raphaell, its co-founder, operational excellence is at the heart of all its processes, he explains to us how Inpulse accompanies him on a daily basis in this ambition.

Deploy 55 kiosks in 8 weeks

Wasabi Corner promises the combination of tradition and homemade food and applies its concept to three culinary worlds within the same corner: sushi, wok and spring rolls. In two years, the network has expanded rapidly, with new challenges every day.

“Today, Wasabi Corner has more than 100 kiosks all over France. Our ambition is to reach 150 booths in 2023. We would like to multiply distribution channels by also developing into a dark kitchen and remote window.”

To cope with the rapid development of kiosks, Inpulse supports us thanks to its unique tool deployed throughout the network. Before moving to Inpulse, we made the choice to develop our own software. We quickly realized that it was long and difficult. A lot of money has been lost in R&D. With this solution, we were able to deploy 55 kiosks in 8 weeks.. Now all our booths are on the same tool. Centralize data and digitize production

Today, the difficulty is to have 55 sites that are spread across the country. It is necessary to centralize production and purchasing data to control the system and the economic model that support the development of the brand globally. Thanks to Inpulse, today we are standardizing working methods, in terms of production and the placing of orders. This allows us to better control material costs and ratios.
